About Butterflies


Butterflies are insects that begin life as caterpillars. The caterpillars hatch from eggs to feed and grow on the plants specific to their needs. When big enough the caterpillars turn into a chrysalis inside of which they transform themselves into a butterfly.
There are many different varieties of butterfly of which many are very brightly coloured.
