About Cats
A cat can either be a domestic animal used as a pet or a wild animal which may live in many parts of the world from the Lions of Africa to the Tigers of Asia. Cats are meat eaters and very good hunters. Even small domestic cats will still hunt birds and rodents due to their natural predatory nature.
It is important not to release domestic cats into the wild as they will prey on native species to survive and can cause harm to native populations of lizards, birds and mammels.
