Some Facts
About The Oceans

Oceans are a large body of salt water sometimes called a sea. Oceans cover nearly three quarters of the earth's surface and contains over 90% of all the world's water.
Oceans are important for the planet's climate and weather. They contain vast and diverse forms of animal and plant life. Much of the ocean still remains unexplored and it is important we preserve ocean life and quality. Without a clean and healthy ocean our planet would become unlivable.
If you want to study the ocean you could work as a marine biologist or oceanographer.
