GLACIER
An ink drawing of the base of Fox Glacier. The fracture lines and folds of the ice sheet at the foot of the glacier make for an almost abstract drawing until we read the title of the artwork. Mother nature is perhaps the best abstractionist around creating a kind of ordered kaos from which the artist can derive inspiration.
